Nidec Corporation is a Japanese company founded in 1973, specialized in the development, manufacturing, and sales of small precision motors, automotive motors, home appliance motors, commercial and industrial motors, motors for machinery, electronic and optical components, and other related products. Nidec Electric Motor Serbia was established in Serbia in 2021 with the plan of constructing the factory in Novi Sad by the end of 2022 and start up of production in the first quarter of 2023.

Purchasing Specialist

We are looking for:

  • Passionate person with proven experience
  • Team player with good communication skills 
  • Analytical and goal oriented person


Your Responsibilities:

  • Reviews and analyses purchasing requests from stakeholders and performs all purchasing activities within the established budget
  • Ensures the implementation of the results of negotiations with supplier
  • Conducts regular reviews of supplier performance in close cooperation with other departments
  • Conducts research and identifies new suppliers
  • Ensures accuracy and completeness of all purchasing data
  • Takes part in the reporting of purchasing KPIs

Our requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics or similar field
  • 3 or more years of related work experience 
  • Good command of English language
  • Basic SAP skills
  • Experience in automotive industry will be considered as an asset
