Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer - SQA Engineer

As a member of our team in supplier quality, you ensure the quality of the components received and are the main interface to our suppliers.

What you can be looking for at NIDEC:

  • You manage complaints of purchased parts, accompany the problem resolution process with 8-D reports and initiate corrective and preventive measures.
  • You monitor and improve suppliers by using known quality tools and methods such as APQP.
  • You support supplier process changes and deviations, follow up with supplier process improvement suggestions and their implementation.
  • You support supplier audits (VDA 6.3 etc.) inland and abroad.
  • You are responsible for the initial sample inspection in accordance with PPAP according to QS9000, IATF 16949 and VDA 6.3 and coordinate quality assurance agreements with our suppliers.

How you could excite us:

  • You have successfully completed technical studies (e. g. mechanical engineering, precision engineering, etc.) or a well-founded technical vocational training with appropriate further education.
  • You have already gained several years of professional experience in Supplier Quality Assurance and in auditing suppliers in the automotive industry and are familiar with the current standards IATF 16949, VDA 6.3. Ideally, you are even a certified auditor.
  • You negotiate safely in German and English (in word and writing).
  • Experience in conflict management and an engaging communication style are among your strengths. At the same time, you always have the common goal in mind and the search for solutions is the focus.
  • High intercultural competence, ability to work in teams, initiative, flexibility and willingness to travel within Europe round off your personal profile.
